Hi Dave,

I congratulate you for taking control of your life and pursuing your interests. I began my career with a 2 year technical degree in electronics and then spent seven years going to college part time to get my BS in Computer Engineering. It is hard to do, especially if you have a wife and family, but I always viewed it as a test of my determination.

If you need help, just let me known. My scholastic skills may be rusty, but my mind has been where few people have dared to look.

I have found that as long as you keep learning, you can continue to grow your skills way beyond what a college degree indicates, but you need those little pieces of paper to get the opportunity to prove it.

So I wish you good luck and assure you that you are not alone, nor the first to take this road.

Keep your focus, spend time with the family and the dog and just do the best you can. Persistance can pay off.
