i am in need of your help.

my college project includes building of android app. and i don't know anything about it. Somehow i came to know about mit app inventer 2.

can u help me.

i was to receive 0 or 1 from hc 05 BT module and if app. receive 1 the app. must show "Alert" & if 0 is received "normal" must show.

can you help me with build block of mit app inventer2

I tried bluetooth connection part first and my phone is showing error 507 ,

I could not connect to any smartphone or laptop even...HELP ASAP..

my phone is running on android 4.4.2 (Samsung galaxy k zoom) (info if required)

Hi Neil, thanks for sharing your nice tutorial. I tried to find answer to my question, but no luck. I wonder, is it possible to use MIT App Inventor 2 to create an application to control multiple Arduinos?

I mean, you have e.g. three Arduino boards each with HC06 module. Is it possible to make an app that allow you to connect to these clients via BT and display ON/OFF buttons for actually connected clients?

A really nice initiative Neil! Congrats!

I really appreciate the youtube tutorial it's very informative.

The reason why I chose a Etnernet shield + nano router (equals "WIFI" shield ;-) ) is that I can monitor and control the shield from other places or abroad. This however is a very nice open-source solution when your are close to the system. Luckily I'm familiar with the App Inventor tool, it's a very inituitive tool!!!

Thanks for posting this tutorial Neil. App Inventor is what I used to develop the Bluetooth android app that controls the Henrietta Project. I can vouch for the ease of use and ease of learning this development system. I started by watching a few of the tutorial videos and then jumped right in and started making my app. The whole process of learning and developing my first Bluetooth android app took less than a work day. You can get some idea of the scope of that first project by watching this video:
