I have it&amp;nbsp; working really well using a Hall effect switch.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After homing the stepper motor I wanted to do an analogue read from the arduino analogue input pin (using a potentiometer) and move the stepper motor proportionally in a continous loop.
