I got a reply for the LND device:

Life expectancy in a GM tube is expressed in counts and is 5E10 counts.

If stored in a cool dry place, free from continuous or severe vibration, there is hardly any deterioration in the tubes characteristics. A storage life of

years is not unusual.

I do not see on these sites any mention of storage conditions, environmental impact on operation and other important details. These companies do not seem to be within the regular vendors lists that I have. Did you check storage conditions in a metal enclosure (army like box) with proper padding, at or below normal room temperatures and not in direct sun/ambient light? To help I did ask the companies for more details from our company.
