This thing has a lot of simplifications but also a lot of very inspirational solutions... I think some of these are not so difficult to adopt in moving projects.

This analysis and hacking is one of the best jobs I have never saw. Really nice and full detailed.

Like all such brilliantly inspired devices, it's actually very simple once you see behind the smoke and mirrors. Great work! Looking forward to Episode II (of this feature, that is -- hopefully it'll have nothing to do with clones or trade agreements (your powers are growing weak, old man Lucas)).

However, being a Star Wars and sci-fi pedant, I have to point out that the Rebellion's engineers really haven't learned their lessons from when they made R2 (or whoever made him; the Naboo, if we believe the Episode of which we do not speak). Okay, I guess he can fall down the stairs easy enough, but how's he going to get up them? It's an outrage!

Erm, anyway. Must get back to work. Ahem.
