The issue was that I didn&#39;t correctly set up the SPI mode (mode0).</p><p>I detected this when the call:</p><p><span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <span>_writeData88(0x0A, 0x14);</span></span></p><p>showed a different value on my logic analyzer when I set the analyzer to mode0.
