Interesting project.

I think you need to address two issues.

First, set up monitoring to see what your house environment is currently doing to meet your livability requirements.

Then, assessing that data, look at where you would like to improve that environment. You can look at comfort zone issues, possible problems, and set up alerts for various issues that you want to be notified about.

If you look carefully at the movie, you see that Tony makes these kinds of requests dynamically of Jarvis and then the system responds as it tries to interpret those requirements.

So if you want to mimic that capability, you need to establish a baseline of support and then look at what you really want/need for the system to provide you.

After that it is just a matter of designing new threads to implement and add them to the system and assess if they do what you need.

Make more changes and repeat.
