Great post.

The Schmitt trigger takes advantage of high gain and saturation of semiconductor material.

Very useful for triggering systems in noisy environments.

This is the tiling pattern that I am using in my bathroom remodel, hand-cut clay tiles with backsplash, corner crapper to gaze out the window, Fe clawfoot tub. I mention this because I was sanding spackle last night and it went up into my brain and essentially froze it solid. CaS is sparingly water soluble, so it takes a lotta capsaicin to restore my sensibility.
