The following are notes from upgrading the board to Fedora 24, using the ...en-USTelligent Community 12https://community.element14.com/members-area/personalblogs/b/blog/posts/flashing-the-artik-520-firmware-upgrading-from-fedora-22-to-fedora-24Mon, 20 Aug 2018 10:12:21 GMT93d5dcb4-84c2-446f-b2cb-99731719e767:1c91e5ae-ca1e-4614-b690-b6cff7b335efpacketgeek0<p>Have been re-inspired (to work on the Artik board) by a couple things:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>1) I&#39;m at the end of my tolerance for most Z-Wave tools, especially the development board.&nbsp; There&#39;s just too much proprietary limitations to work around.&nbsp; I realize that the Artik boards have Z-Wave capability (if you pay the $1K+ for licensing) but that part of the board can be ignored.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>2) I attended the &quot;Assessing and Exploiting Control Systems and IoT&quot; course at Black Hat.&nbsp; Such included hands-on labs for capturing/assessing/&quot;tweaking&quot; USB and RF traffic.&nbsp; I believe I have a few more approaches to try with older projects.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I will post updates as time allows (currently studying for yet another certification for work).</p><img src="https://community.element14.com/aggbug?PostID=3733&AppID=293&AppType=Weblog&ContentType=0" width="1" height="1">
