I was on a patent application for an adaptive algorithm about twenty years ago. The company decided not to go for the full patent, but I got a couple of good bonuses anyway and now I can use the technology anywhere.

Hi Larry,

Welcome to element 14. That sounds really cool, how did you find that niche and what was it like to design a piece of equipment with such wide spread use. We frequently get into discussions involving mains voltage and applications so I look forward to your insights in the future.
