Well; the answer is yes and no both.

We did spend 4 hours doing a some interfacing..

Install and use ON-Semi IDK which is Eclipse based and WICED Studio
Hello World on LCD
Interfacing the touch sensor and PIR sensor
Interfacing the touch sensor and PIR sensor via the cypress wifi module to the IBM watson cloud and see the data in realtime on the cloud as you moved your fingers on the touch pad.

We didn't do the DC motor interface, led and stepper motor interface but I got the code for it. They use Mbed so thats quite nice as it has an ARM processor too.

I am planning to do use them for a design challenge and also will write a blog about it here later.

They were quite generous with the kits since many people cancelled in the last moment. So I got like 4 steppers, 4 dc motors n drivers and lot of other stuff.

I guess they didn't want to take it back with them so they gave all the sensors away.
