How low does the frequency response go?

It looks like it might support frequencies below 10Hz.

Moog also designed the multi-filter tone control in my guitar amp (LAB Series L11, 70's)

Proud owner and user of Moog instruments (currently a modern one called the Sub Phatty, not sure if the man himself was involved in designing it??), and the filter really is something special. Lots of companies have good sounding low pass filters on their synths, but there's nothing quite like the Moog ladder filter.

The modern instruments have some nice additional versatility as well, in that they often can switch between 12dB per octave and 24, and they've also added what they call a "multidrive" circuit, which adds some very pleasing distortion.

Music synthesizers are loaded with some of the most amazing analog technology. This was one of the area that has always fascinated me. In High School, it was a Popular Electronics sequencer. In college modular synthesizers. Once I started working, I spent a lot of time designing and re-designing modules as part of a past-time hobby. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to work with a client on a few modules for a synthesizer (mostly muxes, switches and sequencers).
