I agree with James. the MSP4xx and the CC32xx are very different processors and ARE NOT compatible/subset/superset/etc.

The MSP4xx are 16-bit low power devices, with a von Neumann architecture, with a single address space for instructions and data.
The CC3200 are ARM[emoticon:6abd1cb2558648488dbea31d006afc59] Cortex[emoticon:6abd1cb2558648488dbea31d006afc59] -M4 Core, with an Armv7E-Harvard architecture, and The Wi-Fi Internet-on-a-chip, includes embedded TCP/IP and TLS/SSL stacks, HTTP server, and multiple Internet protocols.

You can use CCSx on both devices but remember you must use the correct libraries.

Is there a particular reason you are looking to use Energia and not Code Composer Studio?

This does not seem to be energia code.

Energia code looks and feels like arduino sketches.

msp430.h is not for a cc3200 controller.

You seem to try and use msp430 registers on the cc3200. These two controller families aren’t register compatible.
