There&amp;#39;s lots of scope to extend it too, for instance the browser page you&amp;#39;re directed to could also report your signal strength encoded in the URL (say if people have their phone in a holder) just so they&amp;#39;re aware if their mobile&amp;#39;s technology is working to a reasonable distance. That might encourage them to scan just out of curiosity, to know how good/bad their phone is performing : )&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;On a related note I was thinking how enabling contact tracing could also be linked to a reward like a discount (if you&amp;#39;re in a store) but I couldn&amp;#39;t think of a way of doing it anonymously, except if (say) that URL you&amp;#39;re directed to, would allow you to install a store app, and that app had a way of confirming if contract tracing is enabled - I don&amp;#39;t know if Android/iOS have any method for an app to do that? I haven&amp;#39;t looked in any detail.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If there was a way, then that&amp;#39;s a huge incentive for people visiting stores to enable the contact tracing, since then they may get pop-up discounts in the store (i.e. the downloaded store app to handle that).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.element14.com/aggbug?PostID=9947&amp;AppID=293&amp;AppType=Weblog&amp;ContentType=0" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
