Sometimes when I am repairing something (always much simpler that what you are doing), I have to tell myself that there is no magic and that I will eventually find the cause of the failure or the intermittent. It is quite a rush when one finally does stumble on or analyze the solution to the problem. Surprisingly in hind sight it seems to usually be a simpler problem that I anticipated.
