Yeah, the dollar store has some great stuff. In Madison, there is only Dollar Tree, which is usually pretty great. However, I miss the more independent stores I could go into in Detroit like Dollar Castle. I could always find the best stuff for so cheap. Great fodder for projects.

I am also having issues with a couple of the pictures not loading. If you reload the page they show up briefly and then go to the Unauthorized please log in error message. I am using chrome so it isn't limited to IE.

Hi Doug,

This is a great collection of Dollar Store memorabilia. When one is a maker it is important to always be looking for resources. When just about everything is viewed as a source of parts and pieces the world is seen in a totally different perspective.

I too am a fan of the dollar store. I've used containers for weather proofing "instruments", toys like princess tiaras as the starting place of blinky stuff for my grandchildren, and they have inexpensive glue and Velcro to hold stuff together. Great stuff!
