How to get inverting input from this circuit ? I connected function generator +ve to inverting input and com port to ground but the output is not inverting sine wave but its non inverting

I would love the opportunity to build one of these units. Have you made any alterations since the last posting? I am in Australia & just starting out on my electronics adventure, as I am now retired. Do you have the base circuit boards for purchase, or would I need to get it made myself? Look forward to your reply.

My tinman would be a bit corny and comical responding like the movie AIRPLANE!

Another thing to consider for later could be little wrench shaped eyebrows that pivot in the middle to help make expressions.

Neopixels will help convey expressions too.

The hat comes off for easy access to the eye mechanism which can be removed. This is what it looks like at the moment.

The screws are secured with thread locker because otherwise, they back out over time. I'm thinking about using linkages like those used in RC airplanes to control the eyes. There are several types.
