RE: countersunk screws - interesting thought.... I would need to do it myself as I don't think the PCB manufacturer offers countersinking but imagine it could be done. I have some larger countersinks for wood working but would probably need to get something that wouldn't dull so easily in FRP.

RE: black screws - agree that might look nice. I have a small container of stainless ones on hand I picked up somewhere but will look into that if I take the project further.

RE: stand / holder - I have given some thought to a bracket. The radio is small and light so a quick and dirty solution that also works is to use Velcro tape which allows it to be oriented in any direction on any surface and still be removed.

Very neat looking package, your attention to detail has certainly paid off. I agree with Paul above that replacing the front plate screws with countersunk ones would enhance the unit - I think black screws would be great if you could find them.

Are you going to produce any stand or holder for it?

Very effective.

It certainly beats making face plates, especially if there are a few to do, or they are complex.
