Hi Gough, I know what you mean about being surprised at how things change. So many of the companies are being forced to grow larger to compete and it is very easy to loose track of the individual consumer. I am to the point where I am just grateful that they will still accept my little orders. Whenever I buy parts I always try to pad my order to make it a little more worth their while. The days of being able to walk into stores to buy anything except perishable food are probably numbered. The internet may be one of the greatest inventions of all time but the side effects of its full implementation are going to be traumatic.

That is a shame about the discount.

Recently they were offering very good specials to those who hadn't shopped for a while, so discounting is possible and in their system.

Come on element14 if you want these people to stay with you and use you when they graduate, then offer a discount on stuff that is on the shelf at least.
