During normal use, the heatsink is barely warm, and stays that way over the course of a day.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The board is blazing-fast during use - for all usual desktop activities it appears as fast as a normal PC.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Not bad considering it is a fraction of the price!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve also done some fairly long compiles and have noticed that it compiles at about the speed of a fairly recent i5 laptop. (I didn&amp;#39;t do any measurement, they were typical files - a few hundred files of C code). &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Incredible how much power is inside that tiny board, with a smaller footprint than a credit card.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.element14.com/aggbug?PostID=17466&amp;AppID=298&amp;AppType=Weblog&amp;ContentType=0" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
