We have to trim things up and use pulses and filters, but I know that people have tricked this scheme into working.&amp;nbsp; We have the fan inside a powerful control loop.&amp;nbsp; We have an accurate feedback of fan speed, we can use PLL to couple fan speed to a crystal, basically eliminating timing errors, at the expense of even more filters.&amp;nbsp; You could hook up a propeller to a motor and measure the power output.&amp;nbsp; But for low wind speeds you would be in the grass due to bearing friction.&amp;nbsp; If your set up a circuit that rotated the propeller at a fixed speed you could measure the energy your feedback loop was using.&amp;nbsp; This method would have a little turbo lag, but could measure these low wind currents.&amp;nbsp; You could have a propeller in a tube to get the N&amp;lt;&amp;gt;S vector and another to get the E&amp;lt;&amp;gt;W vector, or a propeller in a tube plus a non-directional rotor, such as&amp;nbsp;
