Great post John,

I remember spending many hours in the class room at tech school learning about scopes and how best to use them.

There is just no substitute for seeing your signals visually, especially when looking at how circuits change the initial waveform.

Great post and photos! It's nice when experts are available to share tips/information and have actual hands-on time working with a design as complex as a switching power supply.
