Hi John,

I am glad to hear that you had the opportunity to go to the Embedded System Conference and to meet with Neil. Neil is a great guy that I had the privilege to have worked with for a few years and later remained in touch with him through the years. The Embedded Systems Conference was my once a year trip for many years, where I would always come away with some great ideas, new products or new contacts. I do miss living so close to San Jose.

Great blog, it was excellent to read this report on the show!

I've briefly met Neil, but he would have met thousands of people that day - we had a nice discussion and he gave me one of those little demo boards, and I subsequently purchased one of the Tag-Connect adapters.

It is fun seeing all the displays and demos.. now you'll regularly wish to attend electronics shows, and I hope you continue to report on them!
