John so sorry to hear about the plight of "Judy" . I had the pleasure of meeting her last winter while I was in Eau Claire on business. See if she remembers the guy who talked about his daughter the figure skater. We had a wonder time chatting, she is a lovely lady. So you are the guy she was telling me about. Funny I was just looking for some information on the 4541 timer IC and I looked further into the author of an article about the IC, and then I see that you were connected to this lady I met while in Eau Claire. Wow! How is her little white dog doing? BTW, nice job organizing the store.

The store looked really great, exactly the sort of place I'd have loved to visit regularly if it was in my town. It is really sad having things change this way, after all these years, I hope you're both ok, it cannot be nice seeing that lovely store having to go into storage : (

Sorry to hear about the troubles with the business. Is there the potential to turn it into an eBay style business from a home garage or outbuilding?

There are a number of people selling Sam's Photofacts on eBay, could you perhaps do a deal with one of them, so save them going to waste?

I also hope she'll soon find the perfect spot to continue that business.

Sad that these businesses are becoming part of our past.

It was not for lack of trying that the business is now in storage awaiting a new location. It seems that you did all that you could to help. A very valiant effort indeed!

Thanks, For your kind comments. I will pass them on to Judy. She will be pleased that you are thinking of her. With respect to the Sam's Photo Facts I have tried the local library and museum with no luck. The area population is too small to support a radio or electronics club and I have notified the local Ham Radio operators. I also did reach out to the Antique Radio Clubs in Minneapolis and Milwaukee. I have a lot of feelers out and I can only wait and hope at this time. Thanks for the ideas and if any other ones come up I will check them out.

Judy sounds like a wonderful person and I hope that she recovers both her health and business. I’m amazed that she has been able to maintain such a large inventory of parts. It must be due to community support from you and others. Wish I lived close enough to help out.
