Based on past experience they might arrive on Friday, but Christmas and post strikes may push that back a little. (Post strikes are overloading inependent carriers in the UK, like UPS).

I am thoroughly enjoying your FPGA Jazz solo! Keep it up! And nice work on the development platform.

It just boggles my mind that I can record 10 seconds of HD video in a compressed format with $2 memory chip in an SO-8 package. And then slowly write the result to an SD card or send it up into the cloud.

I often think of trying out the FPGAs from these less popular companies. What usually scares me away is the development environment. I'll be curious to know what your experience with the IDE is.

Ha, I am also looking at Efinix FPGAs at work currently, also because of availability.

The sad part is,that they don't have free development software. You need to buy one of their eval boards and register it to get a software license and support for one year.
