Those are some big *** load resistors! What ever happened to a string of light bulbs?

Hi Michael,

Thank you very much for the time and effort you spent on the Hiland Board. I have printed your blog and I will put it with my file on the unit. I was very happy to see that the unit greatly improved with the OEM TL -81 Op Amps. When I first started buying these a few years ago they came with quality parts including the ICs but recently the parts have been coming with junk replacements. Still for $4 or $5 dollars I still like them.

Nice project.

You definitely need to verify the specs on any of these cheap products.
