It is wonderful, what you are doing with your son. Sometimes it seems that they are not paying attention but they are like little sponges soaking up everything you do and say. When my son was a little younger than yours (40 years ago) I often had him in my electronics service shop with me. At the time I was servicing mostly audio equipment. When it came time for Mike to say his first words it wasn't mommy or daddy. It was "Testing One Two Three". I will be getting out of the cold of WI for a while but I will monitor your blog as I want to begin to learn about the 3D printing. Thanks for the opportunity, your son and I will both be wide eyed and interested.

Thanks John

RE: Kids Christmas Gift

You will definitely want to build a noise disabling mechanism into the reversing beeper, horn, siren etc [View:/resized-image/__size/16x16/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-8995abb4-38e4-46f8-b349-5f6f2393a21a/2480.contentimage_5F00_1.png:16:16]

RE: Kids Christmas Gift

Nice project!

I thought you might be able to get the safety issue fixed by choosing a weak link between the dump box and its actuation.
