I used to use similar stuff a lot for controlling power cables from electrical floor boxes to CPUs and monitors in training rooms. Due to the 'spine' it tends to only curve substantially in one direction (as per the product photo above) so you need to keep that in mind when starting out. Once you've done a few 100 cables though, you start to get the hang of how to tame it [emoticon:c4563cd7d5574777a71c318021cbbcc8]

If you want more flex in all directions you probably need to use the older spiral wrap, however it is a lot slower to use.

I have heard of Temu, but it has been about 50 years since I had to wrap my own cables.

Back then there was a nice product, I can't remember who made it, that just zipped around the cables and remained flexible so I could run it between rooms.

Hi Cris,

I've never heard of Temu (except at Xmas time when there was Temu mail every hour in my inbox - Microsoft seemed to have difficulty detecting it was spam).

This stuff is pretty good (cheaper than the Temu product, can be cut and used to tie every 30cm or so on the cable.

I don't know of a source in the USA, but in the UK it's about £18 GBP including tax, for a 15 meter roll. I've been using one roll for years.

(Also very easy to modify layouts, since it can be untied one place at a time, to add or remove cables. One colleague used this for beautiful network cable layouts, with cables coming off at evenly spaced positions with a perfect 90 degree curve etc : )
