Hi Cris, I have one exactly like yours. I had to ignore the lamp gone as... there was no lamp. Also imported, sure. But up to a certain drilling diameter I use this tool (an essential) then when I should move to smaller size and diameters I move to a similar Dremel version.

I hear your pain about repetitive tasks.

I'm trying to sort out a CNC router that also does aluminium as the days of marking, centre punch and drill press with any accuracy have long gone ....

Not bad for the price. I have an old Craftsman drill that looks like the original that this was cloned from. Mine has been in use for more than 30 years. You can never have too many tools, unless you run out of space to safely operate them.

Yeah, that light does look pretty bad, may be could use something like this; magnetic LED light. Other than that the press seems quite reasonable.

You’re going to need a good wide machinists vice next.

I spent more on my vise than on my drill press.

Nice price for the Drill Press.

I'm thinking mine needs to have a light attached again. The last one vibrated and broke the stupid plastic that it was attached with, and a LED sounds like just the answer.

I like the switch position.

Too many are on the side and need you to turn and look.

I might need to buy one of these.
