Now that I have completed a few tests of the product I figured I would pen some commentary.

YES it works! The three different type of labels; paper, plastic and metal on liquor bottle were removed successfully using the product. I was skeptical before starting. I can't argue with the results.

I did come up with an technique that makes efficient use of the solution. I pore the solution on cotton makeup pads and then apply the pads to the labels. I leave the pads on for 24 hours causing the label to soaks up the solution. It just lifts off. I found I can reuse the pad a few times without applying more solutions.

OK, I shelled out $38.22 Canadian to Amazon on your commentary for 32oz of the label removing elixir.

Your pic of the removal products looked like it was taken from the shelf in my garage. I am hoping the product has success on removing the labels on liquor bottles.

A number of years ago I found, in a computer book store of all places, a book on building ships in a bottle. That book caused me to set sails for a hobby that competes for time with my love of dabbling in technology.

One of the most arduous tasks is bottle preparation! The fk'n labels on some products never want to give up the bottle without a g.d. fight. A few bottles have gone against the garage wall in frustration. Funny, when I started the hobby I told myself I would have to develop patience in order to self teach myself the skills.

I am waiting for the box with a smile, to delivers the solution to eliminate the need to patch holes in the drywall on my garage wall.

I have bookmarked this post to give you an update of the results.

Awesome find. I just hate glue residue and labels that won't come off cleanly. I will definitely look for this stuff.

One technique I use similar to [mention:00dfb01ff12548938b4b7669fc69e778:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] is to use tape, even Scotch tape, on residue. Stick the tape to the residue in the middle of a piece of tape and stretch the tape as you lift it off. I don't know why it works better than simply peeling the tape off, but it does.

What helps with older labels that have been there for a long time, in particular paper ones:

Heat them with a hair drier on a temperature that you normally use to dry your hair. This often makes the glue sticky again and then the label can be removed without damaging the area it was put on.

It sometimes helps to make the glue sticky enough that you can roll it into a gummy ball that's easier to remove.

I can't easily buy it in the UK - can someone please read what it says on the bottle and let me know what's in it so I can aim for a close alternative.

I usually use IPA but it doesn't always work.

I haven't tried any special liquid, yet. Sometimes I can't be sure if it won't damage the underlying surface. (And I don't want to use chemicals on anything getting in touch with food.)

Removing labels is one of the first things I do when getting my hands on anything. Some stickers can be peeled off easily without leaving residues. Slowly and gently. These stickers can help then with the tougher ones. Just stick them on the residues again and peel off (usually multiple times).
