I struggled recently with a FR2633 that's available in TSSOP 32 and a QFN 32 with a pad. I couldn't see a way to connect the pad to ground and reconcile the different number of pins between packages. I see (as always seems to be the case) that the command line is the way to go! Thanks.

Excellent! Thank you very much.

Actually for 3D viewing I use the ulp eagleup.ulp with the tool Sketchup.

Interesting, Fusion360, MCAD have an interface to Sketchup.

I like it, because you can see all in a foto-realistic simulation instead of STEP viewing.

The devices are moveable on the board, so you can easily correct some mistakes.

I also created a database for the colored devices, e.g. the resistors with its color rings.

That makes a really cool lookout.

With this viewing, Sketchup, you can also easy measure the dimensions, or relationship between the mechanical components.

My question is not directly related but since you know a lot about part creation, I thought you could point me to other resources...

I have a connector and it's step file from the vendor,.... now how do I create an Eagle library part from a 'step' file ?
