Oh that is why DM is used instead of PM. Direct messages are not private?

Hello All,

This has been resolved. If you click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen and choose "Your Stuff"

there is now a tab titled "Archived Personal Messages"

I just want to make sure that we are clear that private messages ARE NOT actually being deleted. It’s just that the new version has no mechanism in it currently to allow access to old private messages. We will be working on a solution to that so that members can get access and view their old private messages (or export them more easily) but it will not be there right at launch. However, since your old PMs will not be deleted, we will make sure to provide a way to get access or request access to them in some fashion after the upgrade.

If you wish to retain copies of any private messages you have on the community please do so on or before Oct. 24th.

How do you suggest we do that?

Is there a way to forward private messages to external email?
