Site is telling me I have 1 unread message, but when I click on it, the flag disappears and it says I have no unread messages. Navigating to, or refreshing a, page, brings the flag back. I’m talking about the message flag at top right y my avatar.
Perhaps someone wants to send you a few millions too, what a sweetheart
"Knowing my health condition, I have decided to donate my late husband's funds worth 1.2 million euros to help the poor, widows and orphanages, it will give me peace in my heart when I will no longer be of this world."
Don't know if this is related but I recently received a friend request from a dying woman who is a citizen of France who recently lost her Ukrainian husband and wants to donate money through her foundation. Seems like an updated version of the Nigerian Prince story from years back.
Rejected the answer that somebody verified as that wasn't an answer, but a cause of the problem - deleting a message from the system before it was read has left the message count inconsistent. I still have the 1 message unread flag set and there seems to be no way of getting rid of it because I actually have no unread messages in my list and thus no "mark all read" or similar button to press.
The dev' team have confirmed they've experienced this on the platform vendor's own instance of the site and they've escalated it with the platform vendor.
We don't have a timeline on when there may be a fix for this, typically if we don't receive a way to manually fix this then we have to wait for the next version of the platform to be available and update to it.
