What is the most important thing your components distributor should do to make your life easier?

I agree with Nico, more sample code that covers at least the basic functions. Working, well documented sample code would increase sales. However, would it be possible for the manufacturer to do that? How much would it increase the cost of the product? Is there a business in supplying manufacturers such code, to be able to supply to customers?

I wondered about the cost too, but at some point shouldn't they should be testing their own product? so you'd think the cost of supplying that test code as sample code should be very close to nothing extra.
