Q: How do I change my element14 username?

A. You can change how your username is viewed, but it is best that your username isn't changed because of how the platform associates you with the content you create.

From the top right of the web page, click on the profile picture circle, and then click on 'Profile'

Click 'Edit profile'

Next to your profile picture in the top left, you can now edit how your account is shown to other users, then click 'save profile'

Q: How do I change my element14 username?

A. If you need to chance your element14 username (or any other un-editable field in your profile), click on your name as it appears on the top right corner of the page. From the drop down menu, select "Edit Profile + Privacy".

Select the "Your Profile" tab, and scroll down to the very bottom. Select the "Request update to non-editable field..." option.

In the text box, please provide us with what you would like your new username to be. In the event that this username is already taken, you will be asked to choose a different one (usernames must be unique, on a first come, first serve basis).
