I typically use a buck/boost module to arrive at the voltage. Can you recommend a similar device that has a slightly higher current rating. I like to adapt your design to provide 5V for servos or the JQ6500 modules I use in projects. I use the 5V from the Nano with some reluctance. &lt;p&gt;My last attempt with Motor Drivers was my Mr. Machine entry in the &amp;#39;Recycle &amp;amp; Retrofit&amp;#39; project14 competition.&amp;nbsp; I used Microchip&amp;#39;s MTS2916A chips to control two stepper motors.&amp;nbsp; These worked out nicely, with lots of internal protections and simple pulsing requirements.&amp;nbsp; I will really have to revisit this project to clean up some of the printed parts to see if I can get to work a bit more reliably.&lt;/p&gt;

I struggle with the comparison stopping me from doing something I get enjoyment from. I have to admit my projects lack the quality that knowledge can bring.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;The TB67H451FNG and the TB67H450FNG&amp;nbsp;differ only in their handling in the event of overcurrent.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;The TB67H450FNG switches off in case of an overcurrent event and has to be reset by an acknowledgement&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
