Individual nodes without any kind of optimization is able to run for ~15-30min. on a single coin cell battery

Thanks to @Javier and @DAB , as I said, I really appreciate your feedback as that's what tell me what might work out and what might not. !

And I really would value some more prospective, on the mote.

You can get a TI development board that already integrates those capabilities and provides you the free software.

Go to the TI web site and look for 2.4Ghz wireless.

DAB
