I just got into this series but there's some great stuff here.

For desktop software I find a good suite of unit tests a great way to allow you to make changes safely. Have you looked at unit testing for the Arduino?

Peter, your tutorials are fantastic! I plan on following through all of them, but I had to do some serious thinking to get this 3b sketch to work in Arduino 1.6.0. It seems the prog_char typedef has been deprecated now and the #include <avr/pgmspace.h> is not needed now. I have a working sketch if you would like a copy, just let me know.

Need to watch these, my knowlege of using the flash ram is limited to the use of the F function.

So does the SDCard library use a lot of RAM to hold strings or is it more complex structures?
