I'm developing a satellite controlled solar powered FM radio station for use in remote locations. The MKR ENV Shield would be a great option for monitoring the environmental status and performance of the unit.

These shields are looking awesome.

TEMT6000 sensor doesn't give a stable value. You need to take average of multiple values for a stable value but on the other hand digital ALS gives much stable value.

The new shields look really nice. If you are still looking for submissions to use the shields I propose the following for my IOT Reflow Oven project in IoT: In the Cloud

Upgrade the thermocouple amplifier on the current proto board with the MKR THERM shield
Upgrade the 3 LEDs used to display reflow information with the MKR RGB shield
Make a custom 3D printed enclosure to fit the MKR1010 and the two shields

The MKR ENV shield can be mainly used with the MKR RGB shield, to show the UV ratings as color bars. It is especially important when summer is in its full power. The RGB shield can also be used to display the text of weather. And with the readings, it can also tell if it is a good time to go out. The only problem can be that the UV sensor in ENV shield is covered with RGB shield. Though it can have many workarounds.

These look really cool.

The one thing to be aware of is that if you are connecting to the Arduino IoT Cloud, any connection to the i2c signals (SDA-D11, SCL-D12) can cause the board to not boot when running the Arduino IoT Cloud software since the crypto chip uses these signals. That is at least what my experience has been.

The ENV shield looks useful - measuring UVA, UVB and LUX could be an interesting extension to measuring temperature and moisture levels in a horticultural application

Nice additions. I could probably use a MKR THERM shield. Not sure why they put the stackable headers on the ENV shield. I doubt that you would want to obscure the sensors. It would be better if they provided them unpopulated or with standard pins.
