Ground connections in the Arduino Nano circuit

I'm studying PCB design and my question relates to the Arduino Nano, whose design files are here. A handful of pins are connected to ground in the schematic, but aren't connected to anything in the board design.

 

The pins are Pin 4 of the UA78M05 voltage regulator, Pin 2 of the Murata resonator, and the GND pins of C1, C7, and C8.

 

I'm going to attempt to build this myself, so any answers would be helpful.

    if its shown as connected to gnd in the schem, then its connected to gnd  i cant view the board layout for eagle at the moment, but i will wager that those are supposed to be attatched to gnd. you said that you're building one, so ill assume you don't have a nano (I attempted the same, except with uno) and ill also assume you're referencing the pictures to get an idea of what goes where? Those gnd connections are probably on the underside of the PCB. I dunno if I helped, but I hope I did. Best wishes!

    The EAGLE board layout shows both sides of the board, and from what I can see, none of the pads I mentioned are connected to anything on either side. No tracks, no vias.

     

    I have an Arduino Nano board and I can't see any connections for these pads. But it's hard to be sure.
