Arduino Accessories Wishlist and Giveaway

Arduinos are some of the most popular microcontrollers around. With the availability of different kinds of Shields (circuit boards that plug into the Arduino to give it more functionality), an Arduino can be made to do pretty much anything. In this wishlist, we cover some of accessories you need to get started with Arduino, and some of the ones we think are just plain cool!

Arduino Wishlist Giveaway

5 winners will win an Arduino UNO R3. In order to win, answer these questions in the comments section below:

- What are some of the coolest things you've built with Arduino? Bonus points for pics!

- Tell us what we missed!  What are some of the things you'd recommend for working with Arduino?

Arduino UNO R3

There are several models of Arduino in different sizes and functionality, including the Portenta and Nano models, which feature modern connectivity options.  In this wishlist, however, we're taking a look at R3 compatible accessories. R3 is the 3rd revision of the Arduino UNO, which added a few new pins along with various other changes.

Ans-1: I built with ardiuno ' A Sensor Train ' for avoiding train accident.

Ans-2: Ardiuno should have a tiny camera with motion tube for making spy rattle camera .

    Hello.

I may misunderstood the topic or my idea is not appropriate for this subject since it has not been made real. However I would like to share my idea which is about to help disable persons. Actually my idea was inspired by two deaf parents who also can’t speak take care of their newborn. Childrens of this family are healthy unlike their parents. When these childrens were baby, a helper was staying with this family to support parents, since mother / father was not realize when baby cried. I have thought that a technology/system can capture multiple audio and sensor inputs, such as a baby crying or fidgeting, and alert the parents using lights and vibration. I consider Arduino / Artificial Intelligence may be used to make real this idea. I suppose, voice recognition module might be appropriate to add the above list.

    Best regards,

First of all level converters, to interface 3.3v logic to 5v and visa versa.

    image

Also touch screens, and I'm specifically interested in HF applications, such as the RF zero (rfzero.net), which has the arduino already incorporated:

    image

Or just a separate Si3531 signal generator.

With arduino most of things we make are coolest but I would love to mention some

The project I made with arduino was 433MHZ RF TXRX based overhead tank level monitoring system.

These tiny RF modules work cool and they are inexpensive and easy to install. There are some challenges though as it is cheap and do not come without RF interference if there is similar module around.

I used the Ultrasound water level monitoring sensor with these TX modules and on the receiver side I had SSD1306 tiny LCD display to display the water tank levels.

The other projects, I made are with sensors, LCDs and some communication modules, for example right now I am working on project with Blues wireless based areduino boards for cellular connection to the cloud.

I would recommend working with sensors, motors and some communication interface. Not only just working but also creating some cool products would help to better utilise the time and energy we spent on these devices and dealing with errors when the project gets really big.

Missing from your list - More sensors, the Arduino works with most things e.g. temperature, light, strain gauge. And serial devices such as GPS modules

My ideal accessory would be a case with built in mounting fixtures for an Arduino (the MKR series is probably my favourite form factor now) and with space for a few other components.

Ok, so something like this kinetic sculpture could eat up a few of those PWM channels...

    'Morph TE'

    'Morph V1'

It might eat up some of that 3D printer filament as well...
