Trailer Blinker, which one?

The problem is that the trailer has only 2 lights per side, a tail light which is dimmer and a brake light which is much brighter. So to emulate a blinker, I have to blink one of these lights off an on.

The question is: Which light should I blink, the tail light or the Brake light? My thoughts are when I am stopped, both brake lights are on... What do you guys think??

Using a Relay in Projects?

I love the idea of using a 5v micro controller to control my 110v 10 amp outlets. My only concern is the high voltage frying my board and burning my house down. Any thoughts?

Arduino vs. Raspberry Pi

I got an Arduino for christmas last year which I unfortunately bought off of ebay. However, after all the troubles I had encountered ordering it with them and got my money back I was looking at Raspberry Pi boards as well. What are your thoughts on each board? Which do you guys prefer to use for your projects?
