I want to know the purpose of jtag and uart cable?? Normally with zedboard kit we gets only one cable.what we should do for the second one.

The micro USB to Type A adapter cable included with the ZedBoard is used for USB Host mode. Take a look at Demo 6 in the ZedBoard Getting Started Guide.
