When will Avnet RFSoC Explorer be available?

When will the Avnet RFSoC Explorer for Matlab/Simulink application be available (via the Matlab Add-On Explorer)?

Will it be compatible with the AES-LPA-502-G breakout board as well as the Qorvo card?

The app is now posted on MATLAB File Exchange @ https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/73665-avnet-rfsoc-explorer Should show up in MATLAB Add-On Explorer in a day or two. Thanks everyone…

MathWorks File Exchange is the place where these apps are hosted. Unfortunately we ran into a file size limitation imposed by File Exchange, so we're working on drastically reducing our footprint. PM me…

Final code review turned up a couple of things that we needed to address before the release. We’re working with MathWorks engineers this week to finish up the changes and run through test. Target release is now week of 9/23. Sorry for the inconvenience. When we release, it will show up in MATLAB Add-On Explorer as a free download. And yes, fully compatible with Avnet's AES-LPA-502-G breakout board.

Another couple weeks have come and gone without RFSoC explorer available in add-on explorer. I assume that we'll see it released any week now, but if you have any updates I'm all ears.

    Matthew,

Is Matlab R2019b required to run the Avnet RFSoC explorer app? I'm running R2019a and based on your latest comment perhaps that's the reason it isn't showing up in add-on explorer. Thoughts?

    Hi Ryan,

    Yes, you'll need R2019b.

Also the Communications Toolbox Support Package for Xilinx Zynq-Based Radio, which can easily be installed from MATLAB Add-On Explorer (top ribbon in MATLAB).

We have everything packaged up for RFSoC Explorer as an official MATLAB Add-On App. We'll finish the last compatibility tests in R2019b and you'll see it appear in Add-On Explorer next week.
