&lt;p&gt;Which pads and UART interface are actually used for the BT? Is there any demo application for the board that supports BT?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have the maaxboard (AES-MC-SBC-IMX8M-G) and I was able to build both avnet-image-lite and avnet-image-full using Langdale branch with no issues. The correct guide to reference for yocto development is listed below. We followed this guide step by step as well as meta-maaxboard readme as they both refer to different branches (mickledore vs. langdale). Neither images booted successfully.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yocto build spits out an already formatted image (i.e. .wic) so it cannot be an sdcard image format.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you built a yotcto generated image and were able to boot it on your hardware?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

However, it seems like the current version of BCU does not support the MaaXBoard 8ULP. I was able to find the BCU repository from Avnet here that seems to support the MaaXBoard 8ULP &lt;a href="https://github.com/Avnet/8ulpMaaxBoardBcu" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank" data-e14adj="t"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;. However, it seems like the branch that adds support for the board has not been merged with the master branch of BCU, meaning installing BCU via snap gives the version of BCU which still does not support the MaaXBoard.
