How to download a firmware without JTAG ? (Picozed 7020 + Carrier Card V1)

Hello,

I have a Picozed 7020 + Carriere Card V1, I want to download a Boot file (.bin) without JTAG. A echo firmware is already running in CPU0, I tried to download the Boot file in CPU1 by Ethernet (TCP/IP). First I tried to connect the board by EThernet but I have a problem :

Code :

xsdb% connect -host 192.168.1.10 -port 7

tcfchan#0

xsdb% dow -data C:/Users/Desktop/Boot/BOOT.bin

Invalid target. Use "targets" command to select a target

xsdb% targets

I can’t see targets. Do you have a solution for this problem ?

Do you have any solutions for download a Boot file (.bin) without JTAG ?

Thank you

VDA

    Hi there,

What mode are you trying to boot from?  QSPI?  SDCARD?  IF SDCARD, you can just place the SDCARD in your PC, copy the file over and then replace that into the FMC CC.

    Hi there,

    Head over to
    http://picozed.org/support/design/4701/76

and you will see quite a bit of offerings on using the QPSI.

Of interest, check out "Restore/Upgrade QSPI Factory Image"
