Picozed FMC Carrier Card V2

Question

Hi, I would like to use 2.5V supply on FMC carrier card v2 to drive a custom board. What is the maximum current I can draw from this 2.5V supply? Regards, Engin

Hi Engin, The FMC VADJ output was designed for 2A, please refer to the power documentation located here - http://zedboard.org/sites/default/files/documentations/PicoZed%20FMC%20Carrier%20V2%20Power%20Analysis%20160412.zip If for some reason the hyperlink doesn't work, look under the documentation section on the FMC V2 and you will see a link for Power Analysis. It includes the board level power budgeting. The output was designed for a worst case of 3A, but with current draw from other sources I wouldn't push the FMC current much beyond 2A and definitely keep it below 2.5A. Thanks Chris
