Using the Ultrazed SOM with its carrier board, I try to download the bitstream through the JTAG using the Hardware Manager. The device is seen but I get an error message like ERROR: [Labtools 27-3165] End of startup status : LOW
It seems that the DONE signal doesn't go high at the end of the configuration. D2 doesn't light.
I have set the property DRIVEDONE to Yes for the bitstream generation but it doesn't change anything. Status register still indicates DONE at 0.
Is there anything else to do to get this working?
Looking at the SOM schematics I see that the pull up on the PS_DONE signal is 4.7K which seems to be a too weak value! On the ZYNQ7000 MMPZ045 SOM (actually the resistor was on the baseboard) it was a 330 which is a more usual value.
