Zedboard CTT vivado2013 write bitstream error.

Hi everybody,

I tried Zedboard CTT vivado 2013.2
In chapter 3, I cannot generate bitstream.
Synthesis and Implementation okie.
But in generate bistream, vivado 2013.2 run and a notice board: Write bitstream error!.

There are log.

INFO: [Common 17-347] Attempting to get a license for feature 'Implementation' and/or device 'xc7z020'
INFO: [Common 17-349] Got license for feature 'Implementation' and/or device 'xc7z020'
Running DRC as a precondition to command write_bitstream
INFO: [Drc 23-27] Running DRC with 2 threads

What errors happen with write bitstream in this case.

Which version of Vivado 2013.2 did you install? WebPack? Design Edition?

I see a similar issue listed for 2012.4 where the proper files did not get installed with the WebPack version.

What do you see at C:\Xilinx\Vivado\2013.2\data\parts\xilinx\zynq\zynq?

Hi Bryan,

I install Vivado 2013.2 System Edition.
I saw 5 folder
xc7z010
xc7z020
xc7z030
xc7z045
xc7z100
and some files:
delayL_1.dst, delayL_2.dst, delayL_3.dst
delayR_1.dst, delayR_2.dst, delayR_3.dst,
routesLR.dst
CustomerPartsList.txt
DeviceParts.xml
PartStats.xml

I tried another examples. It generated bitstream.
But in this example, it not work.

If you got it to work with another project, then your tools are installed/licensed properly. Sounds like maybe your project is corrupt.

I have the exact same problem. In example 3.1.1 "generate bitstream" fails with an undefined error at the same spot as Luan.
Running Vivado 2013.2 on W7

What is the path to your .xpr file? Will you please copy/paste your full path name to that project file?

Thanks Bryan,

I asked on Xilinx forum.
The answer was I did not defined I/O standard for all ports and they helped me to solve that problem.
However you should use Vivado 64-bit version for running and debugging. Vivado 32-bit would not work with this case, I also do not know why.
