linux on zedboard_transmit data whit fmcomms1

i wanna to transmit my data by the fmcomms1 and i am using the linux.
for this work i dont want to use HDMI output and iio oscope and i will do this thing with UART terminal.
now i have 2 questions
1.can i access to DAC Buffer through UART terminal in host pc? if i can, how to do this?
2.how to build the file for DAC Buffer?what is the fie format?how i convert my data to this format?

There may be a way to do this by writing to the iio:device file locations in /sys/bus... I would recommend asking your question about the ADI Linux Reference design on their EngineerZone -- ez.analog.com
